Members ugly steeple fear
HAving a little trouble installing memory. Seems like the memory is not recognized by the computer.
Members fractal
No ibook here, but I used some Circuit City (read cheap) memory in a friend's powerbook a few years ago. It actually registered, but ended up making all programs SUPER-Unstable. We took it out, and things were fine. So, do you think you got some bad memory? Members RoboPimp
the modules are hard to seat correctly, try to re-install it and you really have to plant it firmly in there, mine took a couple tries to work right.

Members scudinc
I had the same problem. Is this Omni RAM, by any chance?
Members hoerni
My wife has teh 12". It's a pain to get the RAM to work properly. First one I got was bad. The computer wouldn't boot at all with it in. They claim it was defective and replaced it. Second one took a couple of tries before it seated right. Didn't seem to make much differenct either. It's still painfully slow.
