I actually thought it was kind of a cool idea, until I realized you had to re-buy the player for every audio book. It would be cool if they sold like, little read-only memory cards for cheap or something, each one with a different book. A low-cost digital audio player, and audio books on memory cards, thats something I would give someone for Christmas. But a $50 box that will only ever play The DaVinci Code, or whatever else, nope.
