the microamp has a lot more in the guts. It's opamp based and much more hi-fi/linear.........it's does a much "cleaner" full range boost than any single stage cap coupled pedal (like the LPB)

 

 

 

if you want a pushed clean sound...engaging an LPB will make the sound very icepicky and transistor radio sounding...the microamp will make you sound exactly as you dfo, but louder

If the LPB sounds icepicky ect. what is it good for ?

 

Sounds like the Micro Amp is the better option then, right ?
