Members Godin73 Posted November 18, 2005 Members Share Posted November 18, 2005 It doesn't stay as clean as a mosFET boost can, it feels less hifi and adds a bit of girth. I use it in conjunction with my Dynacomp (with the output cranked) for two stages of overdrive. I don't really know how to explain it - it's a clean boost... It's opamp based and much more hi-fi/linear.........it's does a much "cleaner" full range boost than any single stage cap coupled pedal (like the LPB) if you want a pushed clean sound...engaging an LPB will make the sound very icepicky and transistor radio sounding...the microamp will make you sound exactly as you dfo, but louder Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
