Members dopey1978
Anyone know any mods for a Big Muff other than just the usual true-bypass stuff? I did see one site (and of course can't recall which) that had a 6-way switch mod that would select tone ranges. Anyone have a schematic for this or any other mods? I have an older 70's/80's muff that I don't think I'll touch, but might get a cheap RI and mess around with it. What I'd really like is a way to expand the tone controls - maybe have a bass & treble knob. Any ideas?

Why pay a professional to do it when I can spend hours doing a 3-minute-mod, get high of solder fumes, then burn myself from dropping the soldering iron, lose parts, buy the wrong replacement parts, realize I have the schematic upside down, throw the pedal across the room in frustration, pick pieces out of my carpet, kick myself for my incompetience, finally get it right and realize I was working on the wrong pedal all along!?!?!? Where's the fun in that
