Members diocide
I really want to get a chorus pedal. They have the both of these used at a local store, and I want to pick one up either today or tommorow. I play metal, and want this for leads and for cleans. All my gear is below. Whatcha guys think? Members Speeddemon
difficult.I sold my CH-1 in favor of a Taiwanese CE-2 (which later got replaced by 2 Japanese ones, 1 being the 1st silverscrew edition). The CE-2 is quite a bit warmer and more subtle than the CH-1, but the CH-1 really shines in stereo. The best of both worlds (rivalling the warmth of the original CE-1) would be an Ibanez BC9. Expect a bit more to spend than on a MIT CE2-2 though.
Members Robbert
That CH-1, does it have one clean out and one modulated, or both modulated?
Members Seth Carmody
Both modulated, from memory. The CE-2 is more subtle than a CH-1? wow, I thought i'd read that the CE-2 is 'deeper, richer, etc' compared with the later Boss chorus'.

It is, but yet, more subtle. compared to a CE-2, the CH-1 sounds quite sterile in mono, but for some stuff (80's The Cure & Prince) that's the sound you want.
