Members booher Posted December 29, 2005 Members Share Posted December 29, 2005 i've had my V847 for roughly two years now, and I noticed that there's a problem with it. When I'm not playing, it creates a theremin sort of sound at different pitches depending on the angle of how much i'm giving it back and forth. If i leave it in one position it gives that same pitch constantly. Time for a new pot? Picking up some sort of frequency from something? New wah altogether? A wah pedal boosts a certain frequency, and you move that frequency up and down with your foot. It's getting noise, and boosting it in the same way. Members booher Posted January 3, 2006 Author Members Share Posted January 3, 2006 i tried taking out all of the pedals before the wah to see which one was the problem, and unfortunately, with wah first in the chain, it did the same thing. Now i don't know if my SG is giving off a frequency like that, but it shouldn't be that damned loud. I'm not sure if it did this with my volume on my guitar down, but it might have.
