Members FinchTheory
I just made my new pedalboard, I'll post pictures later, and I was wondering what order my effects should go in for before I velcro everything down. Right now I have... Mesa->dl-4 ->mm4 -> tu-2 -> tr2 -> guitar. ^Amp to delay to tremolo type effects to tremolo to tuner to guitar. How would you do it? Members guitarman1956
You've got it all backwards. Start with your guitar first. Holding the amp can be challenging. Just make sure your delays, chorus, etc are after your overdrives.
Members cincy_cosmo
This is probably not a consideration here, but you mentioned waiting before velcroing down the pedals..... I tend to position pedals on the board based on my need to access them with my feet, as opposed to the electronic order they are in. For example, I turn delay off an on several times when I play out and I want that effect very easy to reach with my foot. EQ on the other hand, tends to get set and I don't turn it off at all, so it goes in the back of the board.
