Posted January 20, 2006 Members Share Posted January 20, 2006 i got the modern version. i like it way better than the vox clyde. i was all set on the clyde, and then played the HBE. for $10 more, i felt it was twice the pedal. it has a really nice sweep, and its the only wah i played that felt as sturdy underfoot as a Teese. I'm actually Joel's younger brother, Casey and I have first hand knowledge of HBE stuff (including the wah). I've even wired some of the pedals myself so I know the detail that goes into these things! We take tone VERY seriously and I just got one of the wahs myself and it kills.
