Members Teahead Posted January 27, 2006 Members Share Posted January 27, 2006 I've tried mine just about everywhere, I prefer it before any dirt pedals for certain, especially for the lower octave sound & best tracking. I can't quite decide about the compressor issue though. Instinct tells me Dave's right when he recommends putting it after comps, they impose their own EQ structure and tend to try to change the blend of octave sounds to have dialled into the Octron. If you have two types of drive pedal, why not try... Guitar > Fuzz > Comp > Octron > Overdrive? That way you can enjoy the octaves before and after drive pedals.
