Members Man In space Posted February 17, 2006 Members Share Posted February 17, 2006 Just been playing this beauty on a Dual Rectifier and Fender Blues Deville. Man, that pedal oozes smooth vintage Marshall tones, and is as responsive to playing as the OCD. I'm really in love with the second channel on raw of that Mesa, and I can pretty much nail that sound with the BB on it's clean channel. Can't wait to slam it in front of my Fenders. Between the bass and treble knobs, you can cover a lot of ground, and make the Tele sound LP'ish even. It seems almost as picky as to what amps it's played on as the OCD : on the Mesa it sounded much better than on the Deville. Jan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The bass knob on the BB definitely makes it more versatile. BB is very dynamic, but the OCD's still the most dynamic pedal I've played. I'll record comparison clips of all my dirtboxes this sunday. I was wondering if it would bring a more thick - yet clear - sound with those nice harmonics if used with EL84s or EL34s. Have you tried with other kind of amps?
