Members Big Boss Man
$2000 You're better off getting a new boutique clone.
Members TheAtomicJeff
I would do a search on ebay for plexi clones or JMP clones.
Members NoirAbattoir
There are cheap alternatives to the JMP. In the last year or so I have picked up two circuits which are very, very similar sounding for cheap. A Bedrock 6100 (originally in a cab) for $200 bucks. I then rehoused it in a marshall style head cab. I have also recently picked an oddball Nomad Mustang '65 head for $250. Very similar sounding to my 1980 JMP. Both of these amps are EL34 with master volumes. Simple circuits, but lots of tone an crunch. Respond really well to overdrives, too.
