Members The Idiot
My Rocktron Intellifex was a dud so I now I have to exchange it for something else. I think the store has a couple of morley wahs (PWO) and some crybaby's, but I don't know which one to get. Which of those two companies' models should I stay away from, and which ones are good? Members GuyaGuy
the PWO sounds sorta synthy. not vocal or weepy like a good wah.but the old chrome ones get this:
Members TeamoDave
Yes, if it's one of the old chrome, tall base wah, get it. They can be had fairly cheap. You may need a TB looper because it will load down your signal when it's not on, but it's a great wah. Wider dynamic range than any other wah I've tried. But I basically just used it for the set-it-and-forget-it, cocked halfway Schenker lead tone. And it screams in this aspect.
