Members c2dzmm
I play through a 1981 Marshall JCM 800 2203. I would like to know how I should arrange my pedals. Input to me means in the amp and output is to the guitar in the chain. I also have a tube effects loop that I had installed into my amp. I am really confused about how to do this. All help is appreciated. Members GuyaGuy
Tuner Dunlop 95Q wah Keeley SD-1-overdrive Keelet MT-2--metal zone Boss NS-2 noise suppressor MXR 10-band e.q. Boss ce-5 chorus Boss octave Boss dd-6 delay MXR EVH phaser Line-6 Verbzilla reverb something like this. you want the last 5 in the loop. NS after dirtboxes only because you don't wanna kill the trails on reverb and delays. as for chorus and octave order it depends on your use... Members c2dzmm
OK, but you know my e.q. works well in the loop, and the phaser doesn't sounds right in the chain.
Members jrowan
What was said above about putting delay before modulation is a great suggestion. I've been doing that for the last few weeks, and the results have been really nice, but subtle. It gives the repeats some independent character. Members c2dzmm
well the phaser definately doesn't work right in the loop, but the noise surpressor works great in the loop.
Members booher
try out distortions before wah, too. sometimes i find the wah to be more expressive that way.
