The wah is just a bandpass gain filter, i.e. it selects one frequency and amplifies it, just like choosing a freq on your EQ pedal. You adjust this freq by rocking the pdeal.

If you put EQ first and have certain freq a few dB higher (say 2Khz) then when the wah is at the same freq and gives it a gain of a few dB you now have EQ gain (in dB) x wah gain (in dB) = lots of dB. I reckon this is bad and you'll certainly here an uneven sound when playing across the freq range of the pedals.

Run the EQ after the wah, this will give much better audio performance, if you find the wah it not wahhing certain freq's you can boost or cut as appropriate.
