About learning theory and how jazz works with diatonic scales, harmonizing scales. This is exactly what Ive been jumping into headlong and everything is really clicking alot better. A good ear goes a long way but understanding how chords are built and scales are harmonized to build chord progressions in a specific key along with using modes has opened a new world for me understanding wise.
