Members daFunkyUnit
Ok, so I was given a Fatar Studio 90 master keyboard some weeks ago, and it appears that the ends of the keyboard are made of that vinyl-like semi-spongy rubber material (I hope you guys know what I'm talking about...) But for some strange reason, that rubber part is very dirty, and if you touch those areas, oil-like grime will just get all over the place. Its almost like the rubber has melted, or something. So, my question is does anyone know how to clean such mess up?
Members ChipCurtis
But, seriously, I think that spongy platic/vinyl material is just good at collecting dirt and grime and that it may only appear to be coming off the material itself. Try taking a non-abrasive cleaner like orange clean to it, see if that helps. Worse case scenario is that it did wear off the material itself, but you can still clean it up a bit. May end up having a worn matte looking result, but at least won't get your hands dirty anymore.
