Members BigsbySF
The Korg TR61 (essentially the new Triton LE) doesn't like midi files generated by Reason. Can anyone recommend a free or cheap midi editor that will allow me to open my Reason midi's, perform any needed changes/reconfigurations, and export a *.mid file that Triton will like? Does anyone know offhand what it is about Reason's midi files that Tritons don't like?
Members BigsbySF
In case anyone's curious, Reason doesn't use midi channels, so it exports its midi files with all tracks set to midi channel 1. After you import into triton, you have to go to SEQ 3.1, the midi program 1-8 (and 9-16 if more than 8 tracks) tab(s), and set each track to different midi channels.
