Members outstanding
Is it possable to get a looper that could turn off my compressor and turn my octaver on at the same time. The two just dont mesh so Im trying to find a practicall way to instantly switch back and fourth. If their is such a majical device wich one would work best. Both pedals are true bybass so maybee a true bybass looper isnt necessary. Members bond
yes, an A/B box, allowing only one to be on at the same time guitar -----> a/b box -----> amp a loop = compressor b loop = octaver could get a cheapy off ebay or a keeley or make one
Members trumpus
I don't use an A/B box, but i don't think thats right. I think an A/B box has one input, 2 outputs (A or B) and no throughput.... Brian

Try a Boss LS-2 : connect the compressor to loop A, Octaver to loop B:it has 2 loops you can select to switch on either separately, together or in series (not too sure about the last one though) LS 2: off = straightLS 2 A= compressorLS 2 B = Octaver(you can also use A + B mode to get a 'parallel' setup ) and otherwise, a Carl Martin Combinator..... Members Esperanto
I used to do exactly what you're talking about with the Lehle D loop in my old rig...But it only worked with MIDI controlhttp://www.stevesmusiccenter.com/LehleDLoop.html The above link to loop master was just a headsup...maybe he's got something there that works
Members ryanspeer
What you're looking for is something that toggles between two loops with only one on at any given time. I make these (called a "rhythm/lead") and with the addition of an optional master bypass switch it allows you to bypass both pedals completely as well, as one will always be on otherwise. Members dangerous dan
How about a bigger pair of shoes ?! Then you can press two switches on your looper at the same.

It's much prettier nowadays though! One footswitch toggles between the two loops, the other bypasses both.Andi

Members dot-dot-dot
The important thing to remember is that you need a 4-pole footswitch to do AB loop switching properly - otherwise you can't ground the unused Send jack, which can lead to pops and squealling. Members pissdrunx
can somebody post a scheme how to build an a/b box...nothing fancy, one input, two outs, so I can get my tuner out of the chain.
