Members Radiofred
Into reverbs from such bands as Cocteau Twins,Robin Guthrie,Jeff Buckley,Slowdive,Smashing Pumpkins,Interpol. Just shoegaze type stuff really. Anyone know any?
Members GuyaGuy
a lot of the shoegaze bands band bands from that era were using rack reverbs like the Yamaha SPX, Alesis, etc. if you want pedals the best ones out there imo are the Yamaha Magicstomp (with a 'verb based on the SPX) and the Line 6 Verbzilla. the Line 6 has more 'verbs to choose from--spring, cave, etc. but the Yamaha has presets and is quite tweakable. both do 100% wet. Members ChitownTerror
Does the magicstomp do reverse? Also, I hear the bypass on both are not so good. What's the scoop?
Members cbpickin
I got the Verbzilla about a month ago and I am digging it. I mostly use it for a natural amp-like reverb, but it has a pretty good variety of reverbs. 11 different reverb types with some tweakability. StratAtak83 mentions reverse on the MS in another thread but if it's in there i haven't found it! bypass: not good. the thing has a preamp that's on whether the pedal's engaged or not. good news is that it doesn't color your tone too much and can be used as a boost. but i keep it in the an fx loop. but the reverb is delish! i just used the word "delish.":(
