Members jimmyc84
just a little questions for fellow brits, where do you shop for pedals? so many pedals get talked about on here that just aren't availible in uk retailers, (guyatone etc) or so it seems. although that tonefactor site seems great as it ships to the uk for a reasonable price. Members CS
Yeah that stompboxx guy was really good http://www.soundsgreatmusic.com for loads of boutique stuff lus the usual and even some guyatone last time I looked. I bought a fuzz factory off them, no probs. Ask for Rick.http://www.guitarexperience.com this is owned by charlie chandler which could be confusing. They do a number of boutique stuff. I've bought mail order and in person and each time Charlie has been good ( my Nano went down and it was turned around real fast, ditto a TBIAC and a Blackstone-actually everything I've bought from him has broken and he's responded really well and really quick, he must hate me )http://www.peachideas.co.uk they do fulltone and others. Ask for John. I bought a Fulldrive off them. http://www.chandlerguitars.co.uk they do boutique pedals including keeley. Never bought from them or visited. http://www.killerpedals.com they do a small line of boutique stuff that is rare here everman nick greer cusack. Never bought from them. http://www.stringsdirect.co.uk they do barber and bjf. Never bought from them. http://www.londonpedal.com they are owned by musicground who some dont like but I've had great service from them and a discount for helping sell a fuzz factory. They do various boutiques including menatone and also the EH line. I bought a DMM. http://www.gntguitars.com do various boutique pedals and I've never dealt with them. http://www.vintageandrareguitars.com I've been in the shop and the staff are great but never bought anything. They do various boutique pedals including DAM. and finally a plug for my local shop (for local people) http://www.coda-music.com they do toadworks pigtronix trex crowther and the usual. I've mainly bought guitars and amps oh and a DD3.
Members TheDarxide
www.gntguitars.com is the place I'd go for weird pedals.
Members Lanefair
It's worth adding here that strings direct are the one online company that has never let me down ever, and everytime I order anything from them it comes within a day or two without fail. Usually the next day. They're great on the phone too. Gak also provides a good service although I think it's worth checking stock levels with them sometimes. Members Muscated
As well as all the above mentioned, www.hotroxuk.com do the zvex range etc and are worth a look. Cheaper than Soundsgreat ?I began buying from Uk but recent aquisitions have come from the States, its a lot cheaper and many are willing to ship overseas. You very rarely have to pay extra customs duty. Members Feghead
I can thoroughly recommend www.hotroxuk.com, probably the cheapest electro harmonix in the uk, and they will price match too if you can find anything cheaper. Also www.thomann.de, they have the odd item very cheap, and are currently advertising the new Boss looper RC-50 for
Members plinky
I ordered a cable, some D'Addario Regulars and a Crybaby Classic from GAK. I recieved a different cable, D'Addario Lights and a Crybaby bass wah. They were really great about it, and payed special attention to my order. Everyone in the GAK offices knew about the incident as an order had never gone that wrong before. Everything was collected and swapped, and all is good. Didn't get a discount, though

Didn't get a discount, though I ordered a left handed Ibanez guitar from GAK, and accidentally got sent a righty - then the next day they swapped it, for a lefty but the wrong model, and on the third day I got the right model, but another righty - the same guitar they sent me on day 1.The word morons comes to mind
