Members woodsmandan
Hi everyone ! I need something to switch between my very dry guitar-to-amp rythm sound and my delay drenched psycho phased big-muffed lead/ambiant sound. I was thinking about the LS-2 but read there might be a high end roll off of some sort, so my questions: - Do the high end loss apply on the bypass mode (direct to amp) or is it alwys there ? - Is there really a high end roll off ? (as reviews differ...) - Any one use it ? - Any alternatives ? Tanks!
Members Moltisanti
I have an LS2, i used it to switch between banks of fx on my board, and i've also used it to switch between 2 amps, it always worked fine for me with no noticeable loss of tone. From what i remember it was quite expensive too!
Members opultaM
A few things...-It's not true bypass, so that might be a concern for you.-It has the level controls, which are great, but you can find on other, cheaper, true bypass boxes-I had one and my friend had 2, and all 3 had switching problems eventually. Sometimes it just wouldn't engage/disengage when stepped on. I know, that's weird for a boss pedal. -I eventually switched to a Loooper.
