Members math2014
Hi all, Ok i know there are 0924805724057248xE+10 threads on delays. I tried most of them via the famous search button and i got the following Q. 1. Carl Martin Red Repeat (120$)2. Digitech DigiDelay (150$)3. Boss DD6 (190$)4. EHX Dlx Memory Man (220$)5. HBE Mimic II (280$) What can you tell me about any of the pedals above? Predominantly for the red repeat... is it an analog/digital mix? Sounds? How does it fare vs the rest of the pedals i listed? Does the DigiDelay sound nice (not sterile HIFI) comparatively to the CM and the DMM? Anyhow i know its complicated, but i would really like your thoughts on this. I play 60s and 70s blues/hardrock) Yannis

Members eiolenii
as far as the digi delay is concerned. i found it to be quite good. 6 different modes that you can choose from. I liked the little looper setting but also the modern delay was cool. I'd probably go for an dd-20 if i was you
Members CS
The DMM's delay time is quite short but it's an amazing delay. If you have real player try http://www.hotroxuk.com/ehvideos/DELUXE_MEMORY_MAN/07_DeluxeMemMan_Sm.rmThe Boss DD pedals are very clean almost sterile and do the long delay and hold very well. I use a DMM, DD3 and an Echotap and all three sort out my delay needs
Members AmpliFIRE
None of the above. The DD20 slays them all

Members math2014
So why a DD20 would be better than a DMM?
