Members separanets Posted June 17, 2006 Members Share Posted June 17, 2006 Hi, I got a strange offer to have my TubeFactor modified. They promised to return its original sound. To my astonishment, they said TubeFactros along with Tubemen now contained Chinese microchips and tubes which made the tone totally inappropriate and fully incomarable to its original sound. They also told me the H&K compensated the lack of the sound quality for wide advetising campaign. So I wonder if all that is so, shoud I really updarde it? Members msormune Posted June 17, 2006 Members Share Posted June 17, 2006 Well, my year old H&K Tube Factor still contains the original 12ax7 tube, which is a "Tad" tube, which I think is a relabeled Chinese tube.
