Peavey Classic 50 tube access?

I have a Peavey Classic 50 2X12" combo and would like to change tubes. I took off the back panel, but the tubes are situated inside the metal chassis. Do you have to unscrew the chassis on top and drop it down and access tubes from top? Anyone have experience with Classic 50? Tubes seem much less accessible than Delta Blues or Classic 30 models. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

well taking the back off is a good idea

get a rachet handel with a common screwdriver head on it (flat)

because if you notice, those two panels at the bottom of each tube set come off (the panels with the foam on them)

once you have those off...hold on to the board the tubes are mounted on and very gently ease out each of the vacuum tubes..the board si only secured on two points and will break if you just wiggle the tubes out like you regularly would
