Members dan-o-guitar
I think I've found the perfect boost for my Cricket (and my Lonestar and my Twin and...) All tube 12AT7 clean boost goodness courtesy of Mark at OLCircuits. I think he has a winner on his hands.

Members Lanefair
It does look gorgeous, but who needs a tube for a boost?

I've build a couple of boosters, including an LPB, Jack Orman's MOSFET Clean boost, and various others. The MOSFET was my favorite until I got the Eclipse Valve. Very nice tone control and switchable input caps. Does it sound better than solid state? Well, it sounds different, in a warm kind of way. Next week I'll post some clips after I've had some time to play with different tubes and bias it correctly.
