Members Adrian Crow
On the "The Song Remains The Same" DVD and "Live At the Royal Albert Hall" when Jimmy plays Dazed and Confused, durring the Bow part, he hits the strings playing a chord then points to the sky then the same chord hits again. I figured that it was some delay trick but after the second sounding of the chord it dose not repeat, it only gose once dose any one know how to do this? Members DonaldDemon
I thought it was just an Echoplex set to minimal repeats??It sounds cool whatever it is.

Members Eddie Feder
it's an echoplex, an EP-3 solidstate, set to a pretty long delay time with the echo volume up to the point that you get about a 1:1 ratio between original note and effect playback volume. Yeah, you can set I think any delay to just repeat once. He probably did it with an echoplex, like the previous people said. I remember watching that having no knowledge about echo or effects at all, and just being in awe. . .Now, it's like "Ah, that's pretty good. . ." Members DonaldDemon
I believe that sound was modeled after the shark in the vagina effect where the bow represents the shark prodding and the delay represents the screams of fangirl who wanted to "meet that guy Led Zeppelin". Members CapnMarvel
In the SRTS movie, I believe during 'Whole Lotta Love' where he's fondling his Theremin by his amps, you can see his tape delay behind him.
