Who's making a good cheap y box ?

Hi !

 

I might be needing to split my signal in two, going clean into one amp and effected into the other (using both at the same time... I'm a bass player and I wish to keep some clean buttom).

 

I was wondering :

1. If I really need a y box to do it or a Y cord does the trick

2. If a Y box is needed, who makes a good but cheap one ? (I have ne need of a/b switching by the way).

For that specific application you should get an Axess BS-2. They are Canadian.

There's also Lehle, which has a switchable splitter.

You want one with an isolation transformer to prevent ground loops.
