Members allmonochrome Posted September 8, 2006 Members Share Posted September 8, 2006 i accidentally asked this in the electric guitar forum earlier, so i'll ask it in the proper place now. how does the ibanez ad9 reissue compare to the dod fx90 analog delay? the fx90 is pretty dark, and i kinda like that, but mine just broke so i'm in the market for something new and more reliable. thanks. Members GuyaGuy Posted September 8, 2006 Members Share Posted September 8, 2006 the DOD is indeed dark and slightly dirty, which is why i keep it around. the Ibanez re-ish apparently has new chinese bucket brigade chips which don't deliver the warm sound that the old japanese ones did. but not a bad re-ish from what i've heard/read.
