Members inlifeisdeath
Just wondering, does the term 'Solid-state pedal' even exist? Whenever a fellow uses the term it makes me feel like tearing out my hair. I wish to retort him with a "no, there's no such {censored}ing thing as a solid-state pedal, fool!" But, I don't want to risk the odd chance that there really might be a term 'solid-state pedal' in the obscure references of HC amp. I think he might be saying that the MT-2 is a solid-state pedal in comparison to pedals with tubes in them, like them Demoniser/Womaniser and related pedals. But it still makes me squirm, regardless. http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1378954&perpage=20&pagenumber=4 Thank you for reading, I'm not seeking to mock anyone or whatsoever. No malice present, just trying to untie this knot of mine. Cheers,
Members GuyaGuy
saying "SS pedal" is kind of like saying "analog amplifier."you don't need to specify that unless you happen to be comparing to a non-SS pedal, of which there aren't many. likewise, an "analog amp" is every single amp in the world except for Line 6 and its followers.if you want to piss him off start talking about "wheat bread" and "wooden guitars."
