Members Cloacal-X
Err...besides me? I've been following it pretty much since episode #1, being a big fan of Diplo. Mad Decent Radio is "NPR for the streets", basically each episode is a snapshot of the music played in different urban locales all over the world, but especially central & south america. Everything from baile/carioca funk to meringue to bounce to kuduro...it's very much a gonzo style of dj'ing that diplo does. I can't really describe it since it's not really what you'd think, just listen!
Members syncretism
Thanks for the heads-up. I'll return the favor with http://resonancefm.com - my favorite station, both net and wireless.
Members Cloacal-X
Cool - I subscribed to Red Zero and Rhythm Excursions, they looked interesting. Nobody else has listened to Mad Decent? It's hot {censored} on china! Like the Paris episode guest hosted by Busy P *edit* I think Feadz actually hosts this one* w/ a lot of Ed Banger tracks....Uffie...Chromeo, anybody? The WHBI broadcast from 1981 hosted by Afrika Islam "Son Of Bambaata" - this is like the birth of electro! The New Orleans Mix with the 8-minute long Souljah Slim track? The easter mix with everything from CSS to Sebastian Tellier? Did I mention it's mostly electronic music?
