Members JSmalley12000
Any suggestions on which types of effects (VST, Nyquist, etc) and more specifically which brands of free effects for Audacity are good? I'm looking for good reverb, and good compression/distortion for recording vocals. Thanks.

Members percyexpat
not a great many plugins work in audacity. the support for them isnt good. ambience is a fantastic reverb (although not all the options for it fit on the page so you can only tweak half of them, that is just a ridiculous bug). i havnt found many that work well and sound decent. some of the voxengo freebies work well. other than that, i dont know!
