That is what happened with Maestro and their Rhythm and Sound pedal. It was so complex to play, only the guy who demonstrated them could get good sounds out of it. So everyone else who bought one would get pissed and return them because they couldn't get those sounds.

Stranger things have happened. ;) A few builders have thrown me pedals to try out and in some cases, keep them, but the majorty of them I buy out of my own curiosity. (Sean is a friend and has been very appreciative of the vids.)


I was talking to my buddy about going to Namm this winter and he thought it would be more appropriate if I stayed home and he just wheeled a video monitor around the show for me to teleconference from.:freak:


Thanks for the kind words. I just want to encourage others to keep making demos. The more folks we hear with a piece of gear, the better idea we get what it may sound like with our own rigs.
