I have heard one solitary opinion that there is hiss, so I'm not hung up on that. I expect my analog bbd pedals to hiss a bit. But to the point a client wouldn't want to record with it, I don't know. I on the other hand have no problem tracking hiss to tape, or memory these days, but especially have you ever modulated the hiss with an additional unit?
