Members jonny guitar Posted November 8, 2006 Members Share Posted November 8, 2006 The 25 and the Champ 12 are really crappy amps and should not even have the "Champ" name on them. If you are thinking about purchasing one I would investigate fully before you do.....very sterile sounding, crappy components, boxy sound, runs very hot, only semi-modable due to very high plate voltages, dirt channel is horrid, clean channel does not break up at all, reverb is very bad, not very loud for the wattage (my 6 watt champ was twice as loud as the champ 12).
