Members Chad
I just got a Retro-Sonic Phaser and it sounds great, however, I'm kinda bummed that I can't get the slow, Van Halen style phase like my MXR block logo does. Is this normal? Is there a way to adjust the range of the speed knob? Also, what is the little hole in the top of the box to the left of the word "Depth"? Members justintee
i don't think there's any user-adjustable settings if you're talking about internal pots etc. and that little hole is a hole in the enclosure for the pot, so the pot won't wiggle about when being screwed in. Members Chad
Below is a link to a soundfile where I compared the two pedals with the speed knob turned to the far left. The first is the MXR block logo Phase90, then the Retro-Sonic. Kinda of a monotonous track, I know, but I just wanted to capture the difference between the two pedals. http://webpages.charter.net/cpt/01--03.mp3 That seems too fast for the lowest speed setting on the Retro-Sonic. I sent an email to Retro-Sonic with this soundfile and am awaiting a reply.
