Members Noise...
Ok, a shop I'm heading to tomorrow has a used Phase 90. It's just the regular one - not a Script Phase 90 or anything special. It's got a few nicks and scratches, but is in really good condition. Is it worth buying, and if so, what price should it be? Members session_of_jam
Its worth it if you don't have a phaser. It has a solid, very useable, phaser sound. If you already have one or more that you are satisfied with, I wouldn't bother. I'd pay $40 or $50 bucks for a good used one. Probably not the last one you'll ever buy, but a good first one. Members Noise...
Yeah...I'm phaser-less at the moment. I'm hoping to pick one up tomorrow, and the two the shop has in are the used phase-90 and a Danelectro Pepperoni. Is the phase-90 better sounding than the Dano? Members comfortablynumb
From what I understand, the Dano is basically a Phase 90 clone.
Members Noise...
^Really?!I'll have to compare them side-by-side...and tehn see which I can get cheaper.
Members comfortablynumb
I'm just going by what I've heard. If they are the same I'd probably go for the Phase 90. Mainly because I'm not too fond of the Dano's look.
Members Noise...
I'll give them both a nice play through a rig similar to mine. I'm thinking I may end up liking the Phase 90 a bit more - if only for the metal housing. I'll probably offer like $30 for it to start with. It's only $60 to start with, and it's obviously been used, so half-price sounds about right. And, if i can't get the 90 for cheap, I'll probably just go for the Dano. Members comfortablynumb
$30 - $35 sounds reasonable.Good luck.

Members Chunk
I'd like to know how the dano sounds. I just ordered one without being able to try it out first.
Members Noise...
^If I try it and/or buy it, I'll definetly post a nice review of it. As I will with all the pedals I try today.
