Members The Idiot
Who makes a competent flanger/doubler akin to the quality found in the mxr, but minus the price?
Members Seth Carmody
I've never heard the MXR but by doubler I assume you mean a short 100ms delay. If you have to have a short delay and flanger in the one box, the only one I know of is EHX Polychorus, which at $200 new isn't exactly cheap itself. I'm trying to get a lead tone reminiscent to dimebag's. I guess my sde-3000 can come close with some tweaking.
Members Godin73
Go and search ebay for an old Ibanez DML. They're very good at that.
