Members k bollox Posted January 4, 2007 Members Share Posted January 4, 2007 looking for opinions- picked up two 1x12 speaker cabs this week. They are old Edens (how old ???) but they sound like ass. I figured I'd be throwing a Celestion or some other 12" speaker in to each, but when it comes to the 1/4" input, I'm thinking of tossing the whole of the old bits and dropping in a new jack. Will I have to mount a cross-over or can I just go from new-jack-to-speaker? FYI- I'll be running a retubed 40 watt Gibson Thor amp (used to be in a 2x10 cab) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
