Members gorebuc Posted January 31, 2007 Members Share Posted January 31, 2007 I put an Ei Elites 12AT7 in V1 and the amp stays clean until almost "7" with my '69 Tele RI. Only problem is the Pro Jr doesn't seem to like lowergain tubes and spits out a little fuzziness on bass notes. JJ/Tesla does make a tube that is 1/2 12AX7 and 1/2 12AU7.
