absolutely not true bypass. Instead, it has a wonderful buffer.

 

If you don't want to have a non-true-bypass tuner in your signal chain, just send a feed to the input of the DT10 from any 2nd output on another pedal (I use the 2nd output of a Bad Monkey.

The only thing wrong with that is that I like to use the tuner for a mute pedal sometimes. For someone not doing that, it's a good idea.

the buffer is top notch, and tone-wise, i hear no discernable difference with it in or out of the chain. its a great unit, i'm bummed/pissed that i had to sell mine:(

 

oh well, i will get a new black one as soon as i can afford it again... any word on the new one vs. the old? i know you can daisy chain off of it, but are there any other advatages? is the bypass as good, sturdy??
