Members DylanWilde Posted March 4, 2007 Members Share Posted March 4, 2007 Well, if you are running it either into a very quiet, very clean amp, or in the loop, then it will simply give you clean volume boost. But if you run it into a loud tube amp that is potentially on the verge of getting some break up/overdrive happening, then the boost (from the front) with push your input signal and get you some transparent distortion from your amp.
