Members benecol
An unlikely guitar hero, I know, but the second guitar (the one without a wah) on Nutbush City Limits is one of my favourite tones EVER. So what's he using? I look forward to some HILARIOUS domestic violence gags, followed maybe by some advice. I thank you.

Members benecol
an acoustic? I saw that clip on youtube before I posted - think that guitar was just for the performance. We've got a 60's Fender Malibu floating round work, and it is truly a hellish guitar.
Members mc5nrg
Actually Ike Turner is all over lots of extremely influential blues records-besides doing things like discovering Howling Wolf, cutting one of the first rock and roll records (Rocket 88) Jackie Brenson w/Ike's Kings of Rhythm and Ike on piano- a lot of the guitar on Otis Rush's early Cobra recordings is Ike Turner. Members benecol
Yep, very underrated fella musically. Bit hard to like him due to him being such a fantastic husband etc, but musically very ace, I reckon. So, how do I get that sound?
