Members jussi_k
I was just wondering about this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=019&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=290078656010&rd=1&rd=1 ...and when I just happened to check out the serial from my good old RAT II with the led, which is from 1987 or 88 (I know because that's when I got it), it turned out that my RAT II's serial is 077XXX. So it's much lower than the serial of the one above, which should logically be older. It's kinda strange, RAT II model followed the original small box RAT and there is no reason to think that they didn't continue the serials chronologically. What a mystery. Did Proco actually manufacture these two models simultaneously for some reason?
Members angus_old
RAT and RAT II are different models
Members jussi_k
Well, I understood that when they made the transition from RAT to RAT II, it was mostly just cosmetic, with just the new logo and the led and a maybe new type of switch? The LM308 chip inside remained there.
