Members TeleMan1985
Have been looking at one in the window of a guitar shop for ages. I finally went in today and asked how much they are. He said the display one was the only one he had left, so he would give it me for
Members Puddlegum
I've read about them. I think MF had them for like 10 bucks a month or so back. If you like it, congrats.
Members FLYING V 83
Bought a bunch of 'em when MF was blowing them out at $10 each. Only two good ones in the whole lot are the Tubulator and SCH-Z. Delay was muddy, phaser sucked, metal pedal was a joke. Tubulator is like the Bad Monkey and would suffice as a boost but not a main overdrive. SCH-Z is almost identical to my old SCH-1 and is the best bargain out there. Members machine gunner
I have one- very good OD esp. for the $$. Very transparent, virtually no mid range hump.
Members wednesdaysworse
It's a cool, cheap OD. I got mine for $10, put in an op-amp chip socket for $1 (easy pedal to work on) and got some free op-amp chips from TI as "samples" for swapping. Very instructive and useful pedal for experimentation.
Members TeleMan1985
Well, have had the weekend to play with it. Like people have said, flat response, no mid range hump and pretty transparent. It's not the best OD I've ever heard, but obviously for the money, it's damned good and I think the hype is justified. It will be staying on my board for now...
Members wednesdaysworse
I find the Arion pedals to be useful - chorus and delay are also decent. I wish they made an extensive line like Behringer does. Just keep an eye on the battery cover, as it has a tendency to pop off and get lost. For heavy gigging, I tape them down. Yeah, I've heard those 2 are good. I also have my eye out for the graphic equalizer. Not heard much about it, but it looks pretty good...
Members angus_old
they used to make a parametric eq that's pretty good if you can find it for ~$
