Members surfcat
I've been using the thin wire for patch cables and recently got a thicker 10' one to run to the amp. The straight plug has to be screwed in with a screwdriver-mine doesn't have a good connection-makes noise until you twist and wiggle it. So what's the trick-how tight to tighten the screw? Members Gearhunter
Try cutting off an inch, clean a cut as you can, then put the straight end back on,tighten the screw and you should be good to go.The screw creates the ground,so screw it down tight.
