I want to replace the pot with a lower impedance 25K pot because I want to use it after my FX chain instead of before. It's true that the higher impedance pots don't work well at the end of the chain. I only have about a 1/2" of pedal range till it mutes completely at the end of the chain. When placed after the guitar you get much more range. And I've tried the switch. It didn't help. So I'd like any advice on changing the pot ya got. Members dmk Posted June 22, 2007 Members Share Posted June 22, 2007 might also be the taper on the pot.i've personally never used my EB as a volume, only as an expression pedal for a dmc ground control pro. i know i had to change the pot to stop it bunching up at the toe end. And 250-500K pots for placement behind inactive components like pups. It looks like it's correct because the taper seems reasonable when hooked to the guitar.
