Members iracemx199
I am doing a recording of cemetery gates by pantera but I have no idea how to get the distortion that pantera uses. I am not really good at matching it by listening to it so if anyone knows what amps and pedals they use and what eq settings they have them on that would be great. I have a zoom g9.2tt effects processor that has lots of amp models and stomp box models so hopefully whatever they use is on there. Any help would be appreciated. Members The Burninator
Dime used Randall amps at the time, as far as I know. I've found digitech's grunge pedal to give that kind of sound.
Members FuzzShifter
Randall SS amp. V shaped graphic EQ. Noise gate. If you get it right, the bottom end of your guitar should disapear, leaving you with mosquito tone, in a band setting. I'm not slamming the sound, it just happens that way. -Ron
