Members messenger Posted August 15, 2007 Members Share Posted August 15, 2007 I just got a XtLive and am running it into a Peavey Classic Power amp. I shut off the cab sim and have it set for power amp. I shut off all extra features (compressor, gate etc.) but every overdriven setting sounds "digital". I know some people have gotten decent results from these things, any suggestions? I'm also having trouble settings my volume levels. Unless I use a boost, or compressor setting I don't have enough volume with the Amp sims. Without the amp sims (bypassed) I have LOTS of Headroom. I need to crank up the channel volume to get it loud enough (for band settings). But right now my main concern is getting rid of the digital high end.
