Members keith101
I recently spent some extra cash on a few 2nd hand pedals I now have.. Tonebone Classic Distortion Big Muff pi Crybaby original Boss CS-3 Korg DT-10 MXR phase 90 H20 Liquid Chorus and Echo Ts9 What are some suggestions for the arrangement in the chain. I'm also wondering if its advisable to have the tonebone, big muff and ts9 in the same chain. of course i wouldnt have all of them active at the same time. Members justintee
hmm.. if you prefer to have your tuner at the start of your chain, you could have your dt-10 there. although i have mine second after my boost. tuner > wah > BMP > ts9 > tonebone classic dist > phase90 > h20 now where your cs-3 is is really up to you.. i used to have mine right after my tuner (before i bought my boost)... but now it's 3rd after my tuner, running after a hotcake and before a ts clone.. and personally, no problem having the tonebone, bmp, and ts9 in the same chain.. you might have noise issues if you ran them all together (which would be but you said you won't)... but nothing wrong imho, unless you have issues with bypass quality and possible tone degradation which i doubt would occur.. Hey keith101, This is what I would recommend for setting up your signal chain of your pedalboard:Crybaby wah pedal (mod this pedal for true bypass)Boss CS-3 compressorIbanez TS-9 Tube Screamer (get the Analogman TS-9 mod)Tonebone Classic DistortionElectro Harmonix Big Muff PiMXR Phase 90Visual Sound H20 chorus/delayKorg DT-10 pedal tuner I would get either the Axess Electronics BS-2 or VHT Valvulator I tube buffer/power supply as a buffer before the wah pedal to restore your audio signal going through all the pedals on your pedalboard. I've been searching for these mods for quite a while, problem is i live in thailand and the mods for the CS-3 and Ts9 are unavailable. not forgetting the wah. and i seriously doubt i can get the buffers. i really want to though. Members doublee
Ok, but unremarkable, it can be had for $50 on ebay. The 'mod' is barely perceptable. Decent pedal for $50.
