Members sir poopie, M.D. Posted August 22, 2007 Members Share Posted August 22, 2007 i need something with humbuckers reasonably cheap and im super wet for the shape and feel of these guitars. also lovin em in the wood finishes. basically just wanna get a few opinions on build quality. if i were to get one of the cheaper models and did PU upgrades is it that a big difference from the higher priced models? Members bluehuricane Posted August 22, 2007 Members Share Posted August 22, 2007 my friend has a really cheap one with what we think is upgraded pu's (we're not sure, but they sound great) i love it though, great neck, nice and fast and it has a cool gun metal finish. it also has a d-tuner on it. my only problem with it is that the knobs suck ass, but that's a really cheap upgrade. another friend of mine has one that's completely stock and i have no problems at all with it (it's a lot newer though) i say go for it. good lil axes for the money Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
